Room One

Have you ever wanted to solve a real life mystery? Well for Ted Hammond, he finally gets to. Ted has always loved mysteries, especially mystery books. When the opportunity comes to finally figure one out, he couldn’t turn away the chance. Ted is a paperboy and one day he sees a face in the window of the Andersons’s old farm. He goes to investigate and ends up doing something he never imagined; he meets a family in need. Will he succeed in helping these people, or will he meet his own needs instead?

I think that the book Room One is amazing. Unless you’re reading a book about mysteries, you can’t really solve a jaw-dropping mystery for real. I like the way that Andrew Clements details this book. For example he uses the pencil that Ted finds outside of the Anderson’s old farm and focuses on the pencil for the rest of the chapter. I think that this book is a real page turner.

I think this book is a great thing to read for people who enjoy mysteries with a little reality. So, if you like mysteries, read Room One, I guarantee you’ll like it. I give this book 5 paws and recommend it for everyone.
